Here I am posting my second blog. I had intentions of blogging daily, or at least weekly! And, when was my first blog - January! And when is my second blog - April! So much for my 'good intentions' - out the window they flew.
Upon returning home the last week of March, 5 days later I'm on the road again. Up to Chicago to visit with my 102 year old mother. Having fallen, she is now in rehab trying to put weight on the fractured fermur - learning how to walk again. After a week staying with my sister, I head home for Easter. Now Easter is the best news to blog about. Celebrating the Risen Savior! My Illinois children and granddaughters arrived Friday night only to stay a short two days. And a SHORT two days they were. I love those kids! Never do spend enough time with them. Perhaps my driving days aren't over - I'll head out to visit them in May. Victoria graduates on Mother's Day. God willing - I'll be there to watch her walk up to that stage to receive her diploma and throw her board into the air! smiles and hugs to follow.......
Meanwhile back home - I had the delight of my day yesterday having tea with my Ohio daughter and granddaughter. Sophia, 4 years old, decorated the table with color co-ordinated table cloth, napkins, candles and sunshine cut outs! It was glorious and quite a surprise to mommy when she arrived. That little Sophia spreads sunshine wherever she goes. Of course her 12 year old sister doesn't always agree. Oh siblings - what memories I have of my two girls with a similar age difference. More to follow about that another day. Hopefully not three months from now.
May my Lord and Savior be praised.
Hey, I try to post weekly, but noooooo, life has other plans. Im with you there!
