DREARY DAY

Praise God the amount of sun that shines in a day's time has no effect on my inner self.  If it were so, I would be gloomy inside just like the outside today.  It's not cold, just overcast. Not a bad day to garden, if I was assured there wouldn't be anymore frost/freeze nights. Still can't quite decide on what to do with the front of my house - I want color all seasons!  Need mulch with lots of preen in it.

On another note:  I took the plunge and started playing bridge! NOW - I plan on having fun with this game and found the perfect people to accomplish this task. We played a few hands, sets, games whatever it's called,  this past Tuesday night. I loved it! I now have to learn the jargon - of sets, tricks, games, make, rubber, major and minor suits! The best of the night is that my partner and I won - if that's the correct term. Do you actually 'win' a game or just make rubber. UGH! I'll learn. Will I ever develop the memory to remember to count cards and stop talking during the 'set'?  Good question. Me stop talking!?!
