DAILY BLOGGING:

I promised that I would blog daily - such idealism! Do I not blog daily because I live such a boring life, that I have nothing to report; or is it that I am SO busy that I have no time? Hmmm - perhaps being retired and a living a senior lifestyle that I have the privilege to choose.

This week:

Monday: Attended the viewing and funeral service of a dear little lady, Clara Brown.  I met Clara several years ago while on a senior outing for which I was the van driver.  We clicked at first sight!...I know she is now smiling and telling one of her many stories to Jesus.

Tuesday:  Up at 6:00AM, out the door at 6:40AM!  Pretty good for two ole f***s, showered and dressed and backing out the drive in forty minutes!  One to Starbucks for a bit of energy - then off to Shelby Durbin's home.  Packed and ready to roll Shelby off to Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.  Shelby and her siblings have been adopted as our grandchildren.  Shelby! You will do well in this new chapter in your life - AND - mom will survive!

Wednesday:  A little self indulgence - nail appointment at 11:00AM and then back home to do a bit of ironing.

Thursday:  Off golfing with my hubby.  I'll be driving the cart and watching my hubby walk the course.  Hope to get a little reading in too.

Friday:  Off to visit a dear lady from Fairwood Village, a senior community.  Juanita fell and is now in Day-spring rehab.  Taffy, Henrietta and I will be bringing her some joy and smiles.

Next week a bit slower passed for me.  A couple of hours of watching Sophia, my littlest one.  I'm SO excited for her - she's starting kindergarten this year. AND, I'm SO excited for my oldest 'little one' for she is starting college this year at Easter Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois! Hip..hip..
Victoria will be just fine, for you see, she was able to bring Floyd with her.  Floyd, being her Thoroughbred, has been her best friend.

All is well.
