DAILY BLOGGING - written in 2012, just found and polished in October 2017!
Blogging, like journaling, is sporadic to say the least. I truly believed that I would blog daily - huh! Such idealism! Is my blogging sporadic because I live a boring life and have nothing to report, or is it because I'm SO busy that I have no time to sit down and type? Hmmm - senior living at it's best, a little bit of both, as I choose.
This week:
Monday: attended viewing and funeral service for a dear lady, Clara Brown. We first met several years ago on a senior outing for which I was the van driver. We clicked at first sight! Loved that dear little lady, and I know she is smiling and telling one of her many stories to Jesus.
Yesterday: up at 6:00 AM - out the door at 6:40 Am! Pretty good for two ole f***s, all showered and dressed in 40 minutes! Off to Starbucks and then on to load up Shelby Durbin, a young graduate we adopted as our grand-daughter. Off to Miami University in Oxford, Ohio; what a beautiful campus.
Wednesday: pamper self day - nail appointment at 11:00 AM. A little ironing and perhaps start a new book.
Thursday: Golfing with my hubby! I get the pleasure of driving the cart while watching my husband walk the course.
Friday: Picking up two ladies from Fairwood Village to go visiting Juanita. Juanita is in Dayspring rehab after a fall.
So - this week has been a busy week - no time to home making. I don't call it house keeping.... next week I have the awesome pleasure of watching my little one - Sophia - a couple of hours. SO excited for her, for she is off to kindergarten! While I am SO excited for my oldest 'little one' for she is off to college at Eastern Illinois University! Woot!!! Hip..hip..
That's it! I had better get going for the day waits for no-one!
